Professional Interest/Expertise/Specializations:
Michelle Salvaggio, MD graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in 2004 and went on to complete Internal Medicine Residency at the OU Health Sciences Center. She completed Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then returned to OKC to join the faculty in the Department of Medicine, Infectious Diseases Section in 2004. She is currently Medical Director of the Infectious Diseases Institute, Director of Ryan White Programs for the campus and Associate Fellowship Director. She is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. She lives in OKC with her husband, two daughters and two dogs.
