Professional Interest/Expertise/Specializations:
Dr. Cowley has been Section Chief of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine since March, 2002. He is also the John Gammill Professor in Polycystic Kidney Disease. Dr. Cowley is currently the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation. Dr. Cowley is also the President, Board of Directors, for the Oklahoma Foundation for Kidney Disease. Dr. Cowley serves on the Board of Directors of LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma. Dr. Cowley is currently the UNOS designated physician for the OU Mecical Center Kidney Transplant Program and the OU Medical Center Pancreas Transplant Program.
