Professional Interest/Expertise/Specializations:
Her work has concentrated on the interface between physical, biological and clinical sciences, with the goal of translating laboratory findings to survival-extending cancer treatments. She will develop a new track of graduate studies in metrics-based drug development, using systems pharmacology and computational modeling to identify and limit the sources of uncertainties in clinical trial outcomes. She will also mentor junior faculty in cancer research and create an internship program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to travel to academic and industry labs outside the OUHSC campus to learn various aspects of drug development.
