Professional Interest/Expertise/Specializations:
Research Interests: Colon Cancer; Pancreatic Cancer; Inflammation and Cancer; Cancer stem cells; Cancer Chemoprevention. The labs research is directed towards understanding the molecular basis of cancer stem cells and their role in cancer initiation and progression, which may have immediate clinical impact and potential for developing new therapeutic approaches against cancer.
